You pay exactly the same price. The commission comes out of the partner’s margin, not out of your pocket. There is no markup, no booking fee and no difference between the price you see here and the price you would get going direct.
What this pays for
Affiliate commission is the only revenue this site has. It pays for the research, the writing, the photography licensing, the translations into nine languages and the hosting. We do not run advertising, we do not sell sponsored posts, and we do not accept payment for a listing or a ranking.
How it affects what we recommend
It affects where we link, not what we say. We recommend the tours and areas we think are genuinely best, and several of our strongest recommendations pay lower commission than options we have chosen not to feature.
We also try to be honest about downsides. Every accommodation area on this site carries a stated trade-off, and we will tell you when a tour is not worth it or when doing something independently is cheaper — including when that means you do not book anything at all through us.
How to spot an affiliate link
Outbound links to GetYourGuide and Trip.com are marked with rel="sponsored", which is the standard machine-readable disclosure, and they open in a new tab. Any button that says “check price and availability”, “see hotels and prices” or similar is an affiliate link.
If you would rather not use them, that is entirely fine: search for the tour or hotel name directly. The advice on this site is the same either way.
Independence
We are not owned by, affiliated with or paid by any tour operator, hotel, airline or the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page first.
